Donations

In each year’s budget the agency projects a fund amount for all gifts/donations.  Donations are placed into the general fund to maintain the agency infrastructure and programming. Here are examples of what your tax deductible donation might provide:

$25. Support one Teen Institute Youth Staff planning meeting.

    • Youth staff has approximately 25 planning meetings/year

  1. $100. Provides for five (5) days of middle school presentations by the S.Q.U.A.D.
  2. (Students Questioning Under Age Drinking)
    • In 2010 SQUAD reached 1,027 middle age students with their prevention message

  3. $250. Purchase 2-3 video/DVD for the free public lending library.
    • On average 6 video/DVD are borrowed weekly

  4. $500. Enables two months of 1:1 consultation telephone services to community members seeking information and assistance.
    • In 2010, 6,043 community calls were taken to assist individuals


    • Your tax-deductible donation will assist the Drug Quiz Show to continue, a $500 donation will support numerous teams within a school in 2012. Please help us keep this important prevention program functioning. It impacted over 30,000 youth in 2011.

  5. $1,000. Sponsor a team of six (6) youth to attend the Teen Institute Retreat. (Nov. 10-13, 2011)
    • Most retreats host 8 teams representing schools districts and community groups. Teams return to their communities and enact a plan for alcohol and drug free activities.

Specified and special donations: If you would like to give to a specific agency program, as identified in the website, or have a special donation (i.e. estate, property, stocks, personal property, etc.) please contact the Executive Director.

PLEASE help us continue the services begun in 1949 by providing a tax deductible donation.
