BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Robert K. (Kip) Allen

Mr. Allen joined the Board in 2003, and served as President of the Board from 2008-2009. Mr. Allen is a VP of Commercial Banking for Tompkins Bank and has worked in a similar capacity at other financial institutions in the Central New York area.

Mr. Allen currently serves as a member of the Finance Committee and as Treasurer.

Stephanie Leonard

Stephanie Leonard is a Vice President for Commercial Banking at Tompkins Community Bank. Stephanie has focused the majority of her banking career on helping financial institutions expand into new levels by identifying potential profitability, market and program planning and implementation, setting protocol, goals and missions as well as relationship management to commercial clients through traditional banking management as well as loan workout and recovery. Stephanie has lived in Central New York since 2006 and has embraced her adopted hometown. Stephanie is active in the community to include providing education and mentorship to both start up and seasoned business owners and has specialized in veteran, woman and minority owned businesses.

Ms. Leonard currently serves on the Finance Committee and is President of the Board.

Monika Taylor

Ms. Taylor is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) with a Masters in Business Administration with over 20 years work experience including direct clinical care and a variety of administrative roles. She presently is the director of addiction treatment services at Crouse Health.

Throughout her career Ms. Taylor has been dedicated to improving substance use disorder treatment for women, individuals with co-occurring disorders and other disadvantaged populations.

Ms. Taylor currently serves as Vice President of the Board of Directors at Prevention Network.

Geoffrey Wright

Geoff Wright has been an active member of the Board of Directors at Prevention Network since 2006. He was raised in Central New York, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University.

Geoff is a Licensed Real Estate Salesperson with Howard Hanna Real Estate Services.

Jonathan Hamblin

Jon is a retired Syracuse City Police Office. He retired in 2018 with the rank of Captain. Jon served as the Commanding Officer of the 3rd Platoon, as well as for Technology and Program Management and Human Resources. Jon has served as a supervisor for the US Census and as Vice Chair of the Syracuse Independent Redistricting Commission. Jonathan received his Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from the College of St. Rose. He has previously served as a board member for Catholic Charities.

John Katko

John is a former representative for New York State to the US House of Representatives. He has also served as Assistant US Attorney in Syracuse who led the Organized Crime Division.

During his time in Congress, John was a champion for legislation related to supporting mental health and substance use disorders. He has a bachelor’s degree in political science from Niagara University and his Juris Doctorate from Syracuse University College of Law.

Kali Schreiner

Kali is an associate attorney in the labor department at Bond, Schoeneck, and King. Kali assists clients in a wide range of labor and employment matters. She is a member of the Justinian Honorary Law Society and the New York State Academy of Trial Lawyers. Since joining BSK, Kali has published articles on a variety of employment related topics. Kali has a Bachelor of Science degree from Syracuse University and her Juris Doctorate from Syracuse University College of Law.

Karl vonKnoblauch

Karl is a retired Syracuse City Police Officer.  He retired in 2019 as a detective.  He worked in the Criminal Investigations Division and the Abused Persons Unit out of the McMahon-Ryan Child Advocacy Center.

He also retired from the New York State Air National Guard as a Master Sergeant in 2010.  He worked both as the Non-commissioned Officer in Charge and an Anti-terrorism Officer.

After retirement he worked for the Madison County Sheriff's Office as a School Resource Officer.  He was the chairperson for the school safety team, and also was a member of the Madison County Threat Assessment and Management Team.

Karl attended Onondaga Community College and Columbia College.
